Most of us want to live as long as possible, but are we wiling to do what it takes to get there? In Eat Better, Live Longer author Dr. Sarah Brewer and Juliette Kellow, RD provide a road map toward keeping your body healthy through the consumption of healthy food.

In Chapter 1, the book offers an examination of aging, diet lessons we can learn from cultures around the world, and theories on aging. Chapter 2 outlines the authors' "Principles of a Long and Healthy LIfe," such as "Eat the right carbs," and "Choose foods across the color spectrum." In Chapter 3, they outline their 4-week "Longevity Eating Plan," complete with menu plans and recipes. Finally, Chapter 5 examines the ways in which the body changes with age, from the brain to the bones and everything in between. The authors suggest foods to eat (and those to avoid) to help with various conditions such as kidney disease, general immunity, and women's health.

Throughout the book, there is a wealth of healthy-living recipes, such as Mango and Coconut Smoothie Bowls, Indian-Style Chicken Wraps, and Vegetable Chili.
