That's criminal!

Don't ask me why, but I've always been obsessed with true crime and criminals. Not in a creepy way, mind you. I just find it fascinating how the criminal minds works and what drives people to do these unthinkable things. From reading true crime books to watching documentaries about the criminal element, I've been all about it for as long as I can remember. So, when I was given the chance to review The Crime Book, published by DK Canada, I jumped at the chance.

You know those books that end up being pulled off your shelf time and again, serving as your only reference on a certain topic, even though you have many others in your collection? If you're like me and love reading about everything from Al Capone to Jack the Ripper, this is going to be that book for you. Mark my words.

The Crime Book covers the gamut of dirty deeds, from infamous serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer to organized crime and more. The book examines these nefarious stories from a psychological and sociological standpoint, outlining the who, what, when, and where of each of these dark chapters in our collective history, from the assassination of Abraham Lincoln through modern times.
