When you think of Snoop Dogg, lots of things probably come to mind, but cookbook author probably isn't one of them. I was right there with you, so when I disocvered that he was about to come out with a cookbook I was, shall we say, skeptical. I mean, what could he possibly put into a cookbook that I could relate to? The truth is, alot. From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen exceeded my expectations entirely. This is a legit cookbook, full of recipes that are a sort of scrapbook of Snoop's life, from his humble beginnings to the high-rollin' lifestyle he lives now.

Take a look at a few of the recipes you'll find here:

  • Not Ya Mama's Corn Muffins

  • Billionaire's Bacon

  • Caribbean Queen Cubano Sandwich

  • Spaghetti de la Hood

  • Down Under Lobster Thermador

  • OG Chicken and Waffles

  • Seared Filet Mignon

  • and Bow Wow Brownies (which yes, do have an optional "herbal" ingredient)

(Plus, there's not one, but two, versions of Gin and Juice for your sippin' pleasure).

In addition to the recipes, you'll get a glimpse into Snoop's pantry and fridge, find out what his favourite cereals and snacks are, and more!

This book is so much fun to read! Not only are there great recipes here, the entire book is dripping with pure Snoop style. The head notes, recipe titles, tips, etc. are all written in Snoop's voice, making it seem as though he is sitting down with the reader just chatting about his favourite recipes. Ya dig?

Oh, and yes -- the foreward is written by Snoop's BFF, Martha Stewart. Who else?

Now, do you want to WIN your very own copy of this book? I'm giving away one copy to one lucky winner (Canada only, please). Enter below. Good luck!
