One of my favourite things to do is to flip through cookbooks in search of new recipes to try. And when the holidays come around, perusing holiday cookbooks is the name of the game. I love finding new recipes to mix into holiday favourites!

This year, I've got a few new Christmas cookbooks to introduce you too. Some are strictly cookbooks, while others combine recipes with DIY, decorating, gift ideas, and more. All in all, these books have your holidays sorted!

First up: Home Made Christmas, by Yvette Van Boven

Author Yvette van Boven is no stranger to the holiday recipe: She has been writing Christmas recipes for newspapers and magazines for many years. Now, she has decided to compile those recipes into one comprehensive volume dedicated to all things Christmassy. Home Made Christmas offers up more than 100 -- yes, 100! -- recipes perfect for making your season bright (and tasty!). Because Yvette understands that the holidays are a very busy time, she has graciously outlined how to get everything done by dividing the recipes into "Prepare Ahead" and "To Finish It Off" steps so you'll have a game plan every step of the way. She even takes the guesswork out of creating your holiday meal plby providing menu ideas curated from the recipes in the book. No matter whether you are cooking for 2 or 20, this book has your back!

Recipes include: Classic Mini Mince Pies, Apple-Cranberry Christmas Rolls, Christmas Porchetta, Apple, Walnut, Cranberry, and Brown Rice Salad

There is just something about everything Country Living does that just screams cozy. From their decor to their recipes, they are virtually unparalleled when it comes to creating a warm, welcoming home. This book is no exception. It contains everything you need in terms of recipes, decor inspiration, DIY gifts and crafts for the Christmas season. Includes recipes like Apple-Cinnamon Layer Cake with Salted Caramel Frosting, Peppermint Icebox Pie, Salt and Pepper Turkey, Fresh Cranberry-Apple Relish, and many others. There's a section on how to DIY a variety of wreaths (I love the sheet music one!), paper crafts, a no-sew cross-stitch stocking, gift-wrapping ideas, ideas for Advent calendars, and so much more. Every project is beautifully photographed and features clear, step-by-step instructions, making it easy to recreate the projects in your own home. If you love Country Living magazine, this book is an absolute must for you.

And finally: The Instant Pot Holiday Cookbook, by Heather Schlueter!

The holidays are the perfect time to put your Instant Pot through its paces, and The Instant Pot Holiday Cookbook has you covered for the holidays from start to finish. There are 100 recipes here, from breakfast to dessert and everything in between, all perfectly suited for the Instant Pot!
