It's the last day of school! Can you hear the teachers popping the champagne? If you're the parent of a kindergartner who is graduating this year, I have two adorable books to show you. These are both charming, lovely books that are ideal for telling the little graduates in your life just how important they are and how proud you are of their accomplishments.
The first is Keep Calm and Carry a Banana: Wisdom from the World of Curious George. In this book, everyone's favourite monkey offers up advice like "Be the wind beneath your own wings," and "Remember that every ending is a bright new beginning." Little ones and not-so-little ones will love the messages in this book, offering positive advice and life lessons to carry them through the next phase of their lives.
My second recommendation is a beautiful picture book perfect for reading with your little ones. I Wish You More by Amy Krouse Rosenthal & Tom Lichtenheld is a love letter from a parent to a child, offering up all of the wishes of a parent's heart for their children as they go through life. Wishes such as "I wish you more umbrella than rain, " and "I wish you more stories than stars" coupled with the charming illustrations in this book make this a lovely gift for the little graduate in your life.
