The perfect family games for Canada Day!

Are you heading to the cottage this Canada Day? Whether you're going away or staying at home, a board game is a great way to connect with family and friends, and this Canada Day, I have the perfect game for your family! Canada-opoly, a Canadian game "from eh! to zed!"

If you love traditional Monopoly, you'll love this Canadian version. The play is essentially the same, but with a twist. There's property to buy, but you won't find any Scottie dogs, top hats or thimbles here! The game pieces in this version are:

The board looks fairly similar to traditional Monopoly, but with a Canadian bent. There are properties to buy, spots where you'll be required to draw a card (in this case, "Eh?" cards or "!" cards), etc. Players start out on the "Face Off" square and will encounter setbacks such as having to pay for hockey equipment or "windfalls" like collecting money from each player.

This is the perfect family game for Canada Day. Bring it along to the cottage for those rainy afternoons or for a way to wind everyone down after a busy day at the beach. As you can see, the game is definitely kid-approved in this house! Recommended for ages 8+
